Ambrose University (Associate Professor, Education, 2006-2017); designed, developed and led in the Campus Alberta Quality Council approval and accreditation of Alberta's twelfth accredited Bachelor of Education Program.  I was the inaugural Director, (2008-13)​

Concordia University of Edmonton  (Associate Professor, Education, 1985); designed, developed and led in the

Program and Policy Development: International ​

Technical Advisor, Certification. (2012-current), Afghanistan
World University Services Canada, for the Teacher Certification and Accreditation Project; funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (formerly CIDA). I have designed the policy framework for the credentialing of Afghanistan’s teachers and led in the approval of the framework by the General Director of the Teacher Education Directorate, helped design and implement the Monitoring and Evaluation component of the project.  Worked with a Project Management Framework and understand outputs and outcomes required in capacity building projects.

Technical Adviser, Teacher Professional Growth Planning (2003-2005), South Africa                           
Agriteam, for the Canada South Africa Teacher Development Project; funded by CIDA (Global Affairs Canada). I co-designed the policy framework and handbook for the implementation of teacher professional growth plans for the South Africa Ministry of Education.

Teacher, Curriculum Design and Program Developer, Canada China Language Training Institute (1983-1984), People's Republic of China
I designed the program of studies and initial curriculum for English as a Foreign Language in the Canada China Language Training Institute; funded by CIDA (now Global Affairs Canada). I co-designed the inaugural program of studies for the English as a foreign language and cultural adaptation training of Chinese technical and professional people in preparation for their short and long term study in Canadian universities and businesses.  ​

Outputs include design and implementation of Carver governance model, strategic plans, business plans and monitoring and evaluation frameworks for Careforce’s involvement and partnerships with on the ground educational leaders in Burkino Faso, Dominican Republic and Kenya.   

 Needs Assessment Researcher,  Makeni University (2010), Sierra Leone
Outputs include a needs assessment for Makeni University’s teacher education program, as well as proposal (concept paper) for program design in 6 elementary schools in four districts in Sierra Leone. ​

Needs Assessor, Liberia Educational Practices (2009)         Liberia Research project to assess and evaluate of educational practices in Liberia , in pre-service teacher training, in-service teacher professional development and grade 1 to 12 school based curriculum and instruction. Research conducted through interviews and on-site observations, school visits in four provinces, interviews with school teachers, principals, students and parents, information sharing sessions with the Minister of Education and President Ellen Sirleaf Johnson.

Teacher, Curriculum Designer, Diploma in Teacher Education and Counselling, Kenya
Appointed by Carey Theological College, University of British Columbia.   Designed and taught two sets of courses, over three years, in the Diploma in Teacher Education and Counseling Program (for the Africa Brotherhood Church and Ministry of Education in Kenya. The courses are Educational Psychology and Curriculum Design and Program Development (2005, 2007, 2009). 

Lead Teacher/Teacher Training, The Light House School, Dominican Republic
Consultant and in-service provider to the Light House School, Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic. I have led four teams of four to six teachers  in the design and implementation of workshops in teaching English as an additional language, for teachers at the Light House School in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic (2000, 2001, 2010, 2011).

Presented the key note at the annual conference for university and teacher training colleges at St. Thomas Aquinas University, Bogota, Colombia titled Canadian youth in transition: Challenges, opportunities and responses (2005).

Consultant  YFCI, and the Ministry of Education, Indonesia. I was lead writer and team leaderfor the development of a religious education program of studies for the High Schools in Indonesia (1995).
